[Article] THE BOSS (대국남아) IS QUITE POTENTIALLY, THE MOST TRADITIONALLY TALENTED YOUNG, MALE GROUP IN THE MARKET.

After Jiyoung of T-ara cried in a show because netizens were badmouthing her during debut due to an article that states her physical similarities with Kim Taehee, Rain said something that made her feel good about herself and her acting career. He said (in Korean) and I quote, “Second someone means that this person is the only one who could catch up to the first someone. The only person who could win over that person on top is that ‘someone’ that has the similarities of that ‘someone’ on top”. He said that a lot of people were saying that he’s the “second Park Jinyoung”. He was really sad that this came out after he debuted. However, he overlooked into it and kept on striving to be one of the best entertainers not only in South Korea or in Asia but also in North America and around the word. Look at him now… A world star. I guess being optimistic about the obstacles that happens throughout your road to success will bear a more positive feedback in the future.

Kim Sooro, a famous actor in South Korea, said a quote in a talk show that “Idol stars are mostly the breadwinner of their family. That’s why whenever they read bad comments about them over the internet, they lose their ability to strive harder & cries whenever it’s discussed on a show”. After hearing what he said, I have realized that The BOSS (also known as DGNA) have been in the industry for more than 2 years
(including XING days) already. Having to see comments over the internet that says they are the “little TVXQ”, that Karam copies Jaejoong of JYJ, and etc makes me wonder how they feel about this comparison. I bet they’re happy that they are being compared to a top idol like DONG BANG SHIN GI but I am pretty sure they are having the same feeling as what Rain had when he debuted. Pressured and a bit sad. Pressured. TVXQ is one of the most influential idol group & they’re the one who started the “Hallyu Wave”. Sad because people only knew them(especially during The BOSS debut) because they’re the “little TVXQ”. There are people who didn’t like Rain for being as good in dancing AND singing as Park Jinyoung. However, there are people who looked up to him and idolized him for it. He said that his senior and him has a different style when it comes to dancing and singing. That difference between them made him even more capable of achieving his goal on becoming number one. He didn’t just stay in that world that made everyone think that he and Park Jinyoung are the same.He experimented and went out of that little world and gave his best to show everyone what he’s got. He gave his all to be able to beat the person that made him what he is now. and… as he said by his own mouth in an interview… “I beat Jinyoung. I have succeeded”.

Fans of The BOSS have always been protecting these boys from antis that tries to  shatter their name from this industry ever since debut. An industry that separates the talented and the unskilled. An industry that In contrast to this concept, The BOSS has antis because of their superb talent (<- Click) that separate them from the rookies that are debuting after them. The weird thing is that the rookies are MORE POPULAR and OVERRATED as them.

A Cassiopeia, TVXQ’s fan name, once told me that TVXQ had hardships like them. “They didn’t just debut and became legends that fast. They worked hard to get their name on the top. I am 100% sure that The BOSS will be AS successful as my idols”. Long story short…overlooking the bad memories from the past and leaving them there and just keep on  believing in yourself will lead you to success. You will and CAN show those people that what they what have said in the past was wrong. That comparing you with other people was a mistake because everyone is different. No person (or Idol) is the same. I hope that The BOSS will eventually show those people that they too deserve that spot on top. They too can achieve what their seniors have achieve from working hard and believing in their talent. I believe that they are ONE of the MOST talented groups in this saturated industry of South Korea and I hope people around the world will recognize them and acknowledge their skills. I will forever support this group. FOREVER.
